Corrugated cardboard is basically a structural sandwich: flat liners on the outside, a wavy flute inside. That flute is the secret sauceâlike tiny arches that resist bending.
Built-in cushioning, excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, and itâs easy to score, fold,
and glue. Great protection with minimal material.
